George's Marvellous Medicine

I read George's Marvellous Medicine for my reading book. I chose this book because this book was written by Roald Dahl. I wanted to read his book because I liked how he write books, and I liked the BFG very much.

This book's main character is named George, who is living with his father, mother, and grandmother on a farm. He is fed up with his grandmother's selfishness, but he is scared of his grandmother's dark secrets, that he saw a little. So he decided to pay her grandmother, and came up with the idea. The idea was that he made a great medicine and cure grandmother. He put in many ingredients in a giant saucepan and boiled. He once tried samples to grandmother, but it end up just making her taller than a house. He tried different medicine to the animals in the farm, and it made those animals very big. After some troubles, he made a medicine to shrink things. At last, when George was holding the medicine in his hands, suddently, grandma took it and swallowed it. It made grandma shrinks into nothing. Finally, George realized that he touched with the very tips of his fingers the edge of a magic world.

This book was confusing when I read for a first time, so I read twice. In the second time, I recognized the story. I recommend this book to people who want to read exciting books! I thought this book was very exciting to read!
